iDesign is currently looking for qualified SaaS Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. This is a part-time, hourly, 1099 contract position. 15 or more hours per week of daytime and weekday availability needed.

What You'll Do
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our SaaS products. The ideal candidate will take our products to the next level in accuracy, security, and excellence. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
The successful candidate will work remotely on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
- Test Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Reporting: Prepare and present clear and concise test reports, documenting test results, issues, and recommendations.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2-3 years experience in software quality assurance, preferably with SaaS products
- Proficiency in test case management tools and defect tracking systems. Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile/scrum, and QA methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions.
- Experience creating end-to-end tests and integration tests.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards WCAG 2.1 AA and higher
